Addressing the Students (EVERYONE POST 8D)

The stage was set up in the middle of the Island Centre. Students were all slipped mail that told them of the addressing that was to happen the morning of classes. Who was addressing?
Pierce stood behind the stage, wearing a suit, and of course, his signature fedora. Where was his wife at? Students would start showing up soon. Assistants set up and tested mics on the stage.

Close by the stage stood Olivia. She had heard of an announcement and came to listen. She waited around for it to start and read the mail telling her what was to happen during the first class while her trusty Houndoom sat next to her, guarding her from the other students, which was entirely unnecessary because most were very nice.

Tesla walked up to Pierce and joined him behind the stage, in a long silver but casual looking dress. A big sunhat was on her head, shading her face. Six Pokeballs in their shrunken forms were attached to her waist with a custom made black fabric just for these set of clothes. Unnecessary? Completely. Did Mrs. Tesla Khrushchev Pierce do it anyways? Yes, she did.

Nikola stood front and center in front of the stage. She was still a student after all. Cuddles unfortunately had to be confined to her Pokeball. Apparently some of the students were disturbed by her Scolipede. But Nikola knew that they were all just jealous of Cuddles and how cute she was. She looked excitedly up at the empty stage, pretty much bouncing up and down in her seat.

Ritchie took a seat a couple rows further back, curiously looking up at the stage. What was this about? And despite being part of the first batch of students that had arrived on the island, this would be the first time he would see the Presidents of the EPBA. They were famous and rich, but he'd never seen them in purpose. Needless to say, Ritchie was intrigued.

"Hello, dear!" said Pierce, greeting Tesla. "It is the big day. Fifteen Billion Poke later, and the school is open."
He made the money sound like a few hundred bucks. Oooh, rich people.

Lark sat herself in the front row. She had always been the type of student to stay focused and do well in school, and sitting in such a place helped that.

Shiloh arrived sleepily, holding his Seadra in his arms. It was his motivation, saying inspiring words as "Dra! Dra!" and "Seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeadradra."
Shiloh spotted his female friend, but sat a few seats away from her, as to not seem weird.

"About time, too." Tesla said with a small sigh of relief, but a smile of happiness on her face. All of the anger of her youth seemed to be diminished, along with whatever had been left of her accent. It had given way to an eloquent voice. "I'm just glad Nikola will be able to get some proper training and make some friends. I was afraid that she was going to get too close to that Scolipede of hers."

However close Tesla was with her daughter, she wasn't close enough to see the obvious damage a life of traveling and living on an isolated island might have done. Although, Nikola's liking for the rare and dangerous Bug-types may have stemmed from her mother anyways.

Josh walked over to the seats (I think) with Jinz padding behind him making low but loud "Luxxxxxx" noises. Josh patted his head and sat at the end of a row so Jinz could sit beside him.

Matt however, rushed in with his head down and his Ninetales, Huma trotting behind him. He didn't sit down but just stood up beside a row of chairs looking around while Huma made "Taaaaalesssss" sounds.

Wendy lurked wandered near the back, her Glacion taking in all the sights and smells. 'I wonder what this could be about...' She thought. Lost in her thoughts, she stood with an odd look on her face.

Elisa sat down inside in a chair, waiting to begin.

Luna sat down nearby, took out a pokeball, and returned her Gallade.

David stood towards the middle of the gathering crowd of watchers, silently waiting for the big announcement.

Chase filed in along with everyone else, hoping no one noticed him. He stood alone in the corner of the crowd, an empty spot next to him.

Robin ran into the crowd, a smile on her face as she ran through the crowd, Icey following behind her, the Glaceon's pelt sparkling a bright blue. She ran to the middle, looking up at what was going on. "What's going on?" she asked, not expecting anyone to answer.

Gale walked in, his absol, Gilette, trailing to his left. He took a spot behind the crowd, looking up at the guy in the suit.
What's going on?

Andrew ran through the crowd, pushing his way through as Russ pushed through behind him, pretty much clearing a line through the crowd to the front. He took a spot at the very front as his shiny haxorus sat behind Andrew, almost like a shadow, and pretty much blocking all the other trainer's views behind them.

Archie walked up with his Jolteon, looking up at the person in the suit, about to announce something.

Rena had moved in without a tour, yet had read the paper. She sat in the back row, clutching a Pokeball and looking down at it. Studying it. She was deep in thought about Pokeballs, wondering what it felt like to be inside of one, and wondering how they were made.

Erin ran inside the crowd, her shiny Lucario walking behind her, studying the place. "We made it," she huffed, relieved, almost falling to the ground. She had to run the way here, and she was almost late.

Rob traveled with his pokemon on his hip inside their pokeballs. He normally enjoyed their company, but for today, they were to stay where they were at.. unless there was a reason he needed to bring them out. It was mainly because he didn't want them causing trouble.
