Robbery on the Top Floor

It was about midnight when Shiloh closed his laptop. The bed sat on the far end of the room, behind the large sofa and plasma screen TV. He groaned with fatigue, pulling the blinds on the massive window that made up one of his walls. Lights illuminated the Island Centre and Stadiums below him, though they were scarce and were only there so that the island would not go into a deep void of darkness.

The wall next to his bed and the wall the TV was on resembled the walls of a cave. They were rocky and anything but smooth. The large room ascended 3 steps, where the entrance, kitchen, and bathroom were. All but the bathroom were open, making the dorm feel connected. His Pokemon were sleeping in their usual spots: Ferrothorn on the counter as to not scratch anything, Metagross on the floor by the door, Dragonair coiling around the table in the kitchen, Flygon lying on his balcony that opened from his window, Seadra on Shiloh's bed, and Sigilyph awake and floating around. Sigilyph didn't have to sleep and usually didn't like to, though she probably would sheerly out of boredom soon enough.

Liepard was a shadow as he zoomed onto the balcony, sheer grace and feline beauty. Don't wake the Flygon. That was on both Diana and her stealthy cat's minds. This was a relatively simple heist; don't muck it up, Di. If you do, you get expelled. And mommy and daddy wouldn't like that. Ugh. But she just couldn't resist a good opportunity, and Shiloh was an opportunity. Or, at least his things were.

She was just a lithe as her Pokemon, swiftly jumping from windowsill to railing to balcony. The side of the school would be terrifying this high up to any sane person, but Diana was used to roof jumping. This was just an easy way to get in. Liepard was scouting ahead, and his black collar had a video camera on it. He stood on the balcony rail, transmitting into the window. Diana had the phone it was recording on, looking at the night-vision camera on her Liepard's neck.

He had all his Pokemon freely strutting about the apartment. Most were asleep. Dream Eater would keep them that way. In fact . . .

"Dream Eater, sweetness," Diana cooed, climbing onto the balcony. Liepard's eyes glew pink, and Flygon's sleep was disturbed. Diana crawled in the window, watching the Sigilyph like a cat. She hadn't seen it. Hopefully it wouldn't see her.

Flygon began to toss and turn around the balcony, whimpering slightly. Meanwhile, Sigilyph was spinning around in bathroom, admiring her reflection and seeing if she could outsmart the mirror and float in front of it so swiftly, that the mirror couldn't keep up. It wasn't working, but the silly psychic Pokemon was persistent. The rest were out cold.

"Liepard; get them all," Diana purred, stroking the wicked Pokemon between the ears. She obviously wanted him to use Dream Eater on all of the Pokemon while she sacked the place.

She and her partner in crime got to work. Anything that looked mildly interesting was slipped into Diana's bag. Phone? Cool. Wallet? Better. Knife? Sure, why not. Oh, this was a bust. He wasn't as interesting as she had thought. And by interesting she meant rich. A few bucks, a phone to sell and a knife?

It was still fun getting here. And the security? Well . . . not so great. But if the other students are more well-equipped than Shiloh here, then she was going to have a blast. She looked over at Shiloh sleeping. Why couldn't he be more wealthy? . . . bleh.

Then suddenly the emergency system cut in and Diana was crushed by 2 tons of gold ingots falling from the ceiling.

I mean...*cough*

There was a glint by the sink. A Sableeye jewel sat on the counter. Shiloh had received it fromh is mother, as it was one of hers and she wanted him to remember her when he went because she was a mom and moms get all sentimental. True, the jewel once acted like an eye, but people eat animals all the time anyhow, and it was so purty. |D

Diana lunged for it. omg.


There is no other way to put this. Caution to the wind.

Shiloh slept and stuff.
